Karl-Heinz Fezer

Karl-Heinz Fezer (born April 16, 1946 in Heidelberg ) is a German legal scholar and emeritus professor for civil law, law of the economic system and law of international economic relations at the University of Konstanz .

Life

Karl-Heinz Fezer studied law at the Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg from 1966 to 1970 and was a participant in the permanent seminar for commercial law with Wolfgang Hefermehl (since 1968). He completed his studies in 1970 with the First State Examination in Heidelberg. At Hefermehl, Fezer received his doctorate in 1973 on the subject of compulsory use in trademark law. In 1973 he also passed his second state examination in law and was a university assistant from 1980 to 1982. This was followed by his habilitation with Wolfgang Hefermehl on Participation and Responsibility - The Personal Functionality of Subjective Private Law .

During the summer semester of 1982 he was representative of the chair for Roman and civil law at the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main . From 1982 to 1983 he was professor for civil law with subsidiary areas at the law faculty of the Westphalian Wilhelms University in Münster . Since 1983 he has been full professor (C4) for civil law, economic law and international economic relations law at the Faculty of Law and since 1999 in the Law Faculty of the Politics-Law-Economics section of the University of Konstanz.
