Karl-Heinz Schubert
Karl-Heinz Schubert (born September 25, 1929 , † January 1, 1992 ) was a German chief engineer , radio amateur , editor and author of German-language specialist books. He held the amateur radio calls DM2AXE and Y21XE.
Career
After training as an engineer, Schubert first worked as an editor and later as editor-in-chief of Funkamateur magazine from 1957 to 1990.
Amateur radio literature
Schubert became known from the 1960s onwards for his literature on radio technology and amateur radio services , which was published by the GDR military publishing house. Together with Hagen Jakubaschk , he is one of the few authors in the GDR who provided well-founded literature for radio amateurs. His Big Radio Craft Book was also published in Hungarian, Czech and Bulgarian translations.
Schubert was the editor of the Electronic Yearbooks of the GDR from 1965 to 1991.
