Karl-W. Huelsenbeck

Karl-W. Huelsenbeck (born September 1, 1965 in New York ) is an American media artist and film editor .

Life

After studying at the New School in New York, Huelsenbeck took part in various art events. Since 1996 Karl-W. In addition to his work as a media artist, Huelsenbeck increasingly also works as a film editor. Huelsenbeck sees this work on film montage as an activity on a purely artistic level. In 2007 he and Dieter Jaufmann received the award for the best film editing for the musical film Monks - The Transatlantic Feedback (directed and produced by Dietmar Post and Lucía Palacios ) at the Milan Documentary Film Festival .
