Karl Aage Præst , also Carl Aage Præst (born February 26, 1922 in Copenhagen , † November 19, 2011 in Frederiksberg Kommune ) was a Danish football player .

Career

Præst started his career at Østerbro BK , after which he played for BK Frem Copenhagen . From 1949 to 1956 he was under contract with the Italian record champions Juventus Turin , for whom he scored 51 goals in 232 Serie A games. With Juve he was able to win the Italian championship at the side of his compatriot John Hansen as well as at that of Giampiero Boniperti in the seasons 1949/50 and 1951/52 . Then he let his career with Lazio end.

Between 1945 and 1949 Karl Aage Præst completed 24 international matches for Denmark and scored 17 goals. At the 1948 Summer Olympics in London he was able to win the bronze medal with his team.
