Karl Augustin (actor)
Karl Augustin ( October 8, 1852 in Vienna - after 1902 ) was an Austrian operetta singer and comedian .
Life
Augustin, the son of a gold worker, completed an acting training at the Niklaschen Theater School and was then employed in Klagenfurt. Subsequently, he appeared at several larger provincial theaters, played briefly at the Raimund Theater in Vienna and was a member of the Orpheum operetta theater since 1901. His life after 1902 is unknown.
He was married to his colleague Leopoldine Weitz . (However, according to other sources, he was her brother.)
