Karl Wilhelm Behle , also Carl Behle , (born September 26, 1868 in Hanover , † November 21, 1941 in Bremen ) was a German lathe operator and politician ( SPD ).

biography

education and profession

Behle was the son of a locksmith and plumber. He attended elementary school and completed an apprenticeship as a lathe operator in Altenburg . He worked as a lathe operator until 1903. From 1896 to 1902 he worked as a steward of the metal workers for the province of Hannover . From 1903 March 1919 he was employed manager of the metal workers' association in Bremen.

From 1921 to 1933 he was a civil servant in the Bremen administration a. a. active for the coal industry and for the food commission.

politics

Behle was a member of the SPD. From 1912 to 1918 he was a member of the Bremen citizenship in the 15th legislative period . He ran unsuccessfully in the Reichstag elections of 1903, 1907 and 1912 and in 1919 in the constituency of Hanover 7, 15 and 16 .

1919/1920 he was a member of the constituent Bremen National Assembly . Here he was active in the important constitutional committee. From April 1919 to July 1920 he took on the duties of a senator in Bremen in the provisional senate under Karl Deichmann .
