Karl Berghof

Karl Berghof (* 1881 ; † 1967 ) was a German sculptor and designer .

Berghof began studying sculpture in 1896, which he completed in Berlin . This was followed by an apprenticeship as a silversmith, which he completed with August Offterdinger in Hanau . From 1902 to 1905 he designed products for the silver goods factory HM Wilkens & Sons in Bremen . Then he switched to Kayserzinn in Krefeld . After leaving this company, he worked in the Krefeld silk industry .
