Karl Colberg

Karl Colberg (born May 6, 1828 ; † 1882 ) was a German judge and parliamentarian.

Life

Karl Colberg studied law at the Universities of Halle and Heidelberg . In 1849 he became a member of the Corps Marchia Halle . In the same year he joined the Corps Saxo-Borussia Heidelberg . After graduation and the doctorate to Dr. jur. he hit the judge's career and became a district judge in Halle (Saale) . Most recently he was a senior judge at the Higher Regional Court in Stettin .

From 1867 to 1870 Colberg sat for the constituency of Merseburg 4 (Saalkreis with Stadtkreis Halle a. S.) in the Prussian House of Representatives . He belonged to the faction of the Conservative Party . From 1869 to 1870 he was Secretary of Parliament.
