Karl Dees

Karl Dees (born October 16, 1883 in Karlsruhe , † December 19, 1967 ) was a German editor and member of the Baden state parliament .

Life

Before the First World War, Dees worked as an editor for the Badischer Landesbote , the Frankfurter Zeitung and the Vossische Zeitung . From 1925 to 1927 he was a member of the second chamber of the Baden state parliament and general secretary of the German Democratic Party in Baden. After the Second World War , Dees was mayor of Sinsheim from 1945 to 1946 . He was also a member of the Constituent Assembly of Württemberg and since 1951 editor of the Neue Württembergische Zeitung . In 1953 Dees was elected chairman of the state press conference of Baden-Württemberg.
