Karl Diedrichsen

Karl Diedrichsen (born February 4, 1895 in Wenningstedt , Sylt ; † July 9, 1959 in Landkirchen auf Fehmarn ) was a German politician ( CDU ).

Life and work

After attending elementary school, Diedrichsen received private lessons in which middle school subjects were held. From 1910 to 1913 he completed a commercial apprenticeship in the field of grain, animal feed and ship brokerage and worked from 1913 to 1926 as an office clerk. His professional activity was interrupted by his participation in the First World War from 1915 to 1918. Since 1926 he ran his own business.

Diedrichsen had been active in agriculture since 1943 and ran a farm as a tenant in Altjellingsdorf on the island of Fehmarn. In 1947 he was one of the founders of the Schleswig-Holstein farmers' association.

Political party

After the Second World War , Diedrichsen was one of the co-founders of the CDU in Schleswig-Holstein . He was elected chairman of the CDU district association in Fehmarn and had been a member of the state board of the Schleswig-Holstein Christian Democrats since 1951.

MP

Diedrichsen was a member of the German Bundestag from 1953 to 1957 . He has entered the Bundestag as a directly elected member of the constituency of Oldenburg - Eutin / Süd .
