Karl Dietrich (also written Carl Dietrich ; * December 10, 1873 in Sächsisch Haugsdorf , Lauban district ; † October 13, 1953 in Bad Elster ) was a German politician ( SPD ).

Live and act

After attending village schools in Martinwaldau, Kreiban, Alt-Wartha, Alte-Oels and Schosdorf in Silesia, he learned the carpentry trade in Greiffenberg in Silesia. There followed a few years of activity as an assistant before he became the employed district chief of the German Woodworkers Association in Breslau in 1903 .

From January 1919 to June 1920, Dietrich sat with a mandate for constituency 11 ( administrative district Liegnitz ) as a member of the SPD in the Weimar National Assembly .
