Karl Dompert
Karl Dompert (born January 16, 1923 in Heidenheim an der Brenz ; † May 2, 2013 ) was a German automobile designer.
Career
Dompert was chief designer of the glass works in Dingolfing and played a key role in the design of the Goggomobil .
After the takeover by BMW (1967), he successfully promoted the establishment of the BMW Dingolfing plant and was head of the plant until 1983.
