Karl Eggestein

Karl Eggestein (born January 11, 1963 in Hanover ) is a former German soccer player .

Active career as a footballer

Eggestein played for TSV Havelse from his youth until the end of his career in 1992 . In the 1990/91 season, the defender played 36 games in the Second Bundesliga - each time he was appointed to the starting line-up by coach Karl-Heinz Mrosko .

Private

Karl Eggestein has two sons and a daughter. The sons Maximilian and Johannes are football professionals themselves and both play for SV Werder Bremen.
