Karl F. Wolfstetter
Karl Franz Wolfstetter (born July 19, 1940 in Sankt Goar am Rhein, † September 28, 1991 in Wörth am Main ) was a German botanist .
He was the author of the books Identifying Ferns with Silhouettes and Recognizing and Naming Endangered and Protected Plants , to which he contributed most of the plant photos.
His life's work is a collection of around 40,000 plant photos. He also mapped wild plants in Germany and some other parts of Europe.
He lived in Wörth am Main and died on September 28, 1991 of complications from cancer.
