Karl Faller

Karl Faller (born August 22, 1913 in Freiburg im Breisgau ; † 1982 ) was a German local politician ( CDU ).

Career

Faller worked in the city administration of Emmendingen from 1934. From 1945 to 1973 he was mayor of the city of Emmendingen and after elevation to the district town 1973-1981 Mayor .

Honors

  • 1978: Cross of Merit 1st Class of the Federal Republic of Germany
  • On January 20, 1981 he was made an honorary citizen of Emmendingen.
  • Naming of the Karl Faller Hall in Emmendingen
