Karl Friedrich Benjamin von Fröden

Karl Friedrich Benjamin von Fröden (born January 22, 1726 , † November 15, 1793 ) was a Saxon chief equipment master in the rank of major general in Dresden and adjutant to Peter von Biron , the Duke of Courland. Von Fröden was the owner of the Vorwerk Friedrichstal near Radeberg and had a memorial erected in Hüttertal in 1790 for Johann Gottfried Arnhold (* 1721; † 1806), the owner of the fulling mill at that time (later Hüttermühle ) .

He founded the Saxon Artillery School as a lieutenant colonel in 1768 .
