Karl Heinen

Karl Heinen SAC (* 1935 ) is a German theologian .

Life

From the age of 14 he attended the Pallottine grammar school in Limburg an der Lahn . After his novitiate , profession and ordination , he studied theology and biblical studies at the Pontificia Università Gregoriana . After receiving his doctorate in 1968, he became a professor at the PTH Vallendar in the subject of Exegesis of the Old Testament. After his retirement in 2004, he was General Procurator of the Pallottines in Rome . Since 2011 he has worked for the Pallottine magazine “daszeichen”.
