Karl Heinrich Bornemann

Karl Heinrich Bornemann (born September 9, 1874 in Alsfeld , † December 28, 1963 in Frankfurt am Main ) was a Hessian politician ( SPD ) and former member of the state parliament of the People's State of Hesse in the Weimar Republic .

Karl Heinrich Bornemann was the son of the locksmith Heinrich Bornemann and his wife Catharine nee Arnd. Karl Heinrich Bornemann, who was a Protestant, married Elisabeth Matha Helene née Wust on August 20, 1913 in Darmstadt.

education and profession

Karl Heinrich Bornemann studied political science in Berlin and worked as a journalist for the Berliner Tageblatt . In 1902/03 he was secretary of the trade association for south-west Germany, and in 1903/04 he was the chief editor of the Wormser Volkszeitung . After the November Revolution of 1918 he became director of the State Chancellery and later Ministerialrat in the State Ministry. Karl Heinrich Bornemann was a member of the state parliament from 1919 to 1927.
