Karl Hermann von Hörner

Karl Hermann Hörner , from 1871 von Hörner , (born March 26, 1809 in Eybach , † January 26, 1880 in Cannstatt ) was a Württemberg politician and senior bailiff.

Life and work

Karl Hermann Hörner was taught by his father, who was a pastor. After 14 years of teaching, he did an apprenticeship as a clerk, which he completed in 1833 with a service examination at the Ministry of the Interior. From 1834 to 1836 he was senior actuary in Wangen , from 1836 to 1841 in Ellwangen . From 1841 to 1845 he worked as a secretary at the Stuttgart city administration. From 1845 to 1847 he was provisional and from 1847 to 1853 planned senior bailiff in Tuttlingen . This was followed by Oberamtmann posts from 1853 to 1860 at the Oberamt Backnang , from 1860 to 1866 at the Oberamt Reutlingen and from 1866 to 1877 at the Amtsoberamt Stuttgart. From 1867 he held the title of Government Councilor, and in 1877 he retired.

Hörner was a member of the Tuttlingen district from 1854 to 1855 and of the Tübingen district from 1866 to 1876 in the second chamber of the Württemberg state parliament .
