Karl Hosaeus (born November 8, 1892 , † March 14, 1964 ) was an Austrian forest adviser and painter .

Training and work

In 1923 he was a founding member of the Innviertel artists' guild and its secretary. He lived in Mattighofen . After his death he was cremated in the Salzburg municipal cemetery and buried in the grave of his friend Louis Hofbauer .

In 1925 he wrote a series of reports on individual members of the Innviertel artists 'guild in the Upper Austrian daily newspaper and for many years edited the yearbooks of the artists' association.
