Karl "Charly" Hrynda (born June 14, 1950 in Bruchsal ) is a former German soccer goalkeeper .

Life

After graduating from the Justus-Knecht-Gymnasium in Bruchsal, Hrynda studied at the Heidelberg University of Education from 1969 to 1974 . After that he was a secondary school teacher in Neckarsulm for 15 years, later a vocational school teacher.

He began his career at FC Germania Forst in the Bruchsal football district. Before the 1972/73 season, he moved to the then regional league club VfR Heilbronn at the age of 22 . In the season 1973/74 Hrynda was under coach Fred Hoffmann regular keeper of the VfR and rose with the team in the 2nd League South. There, too, he was the first goalkeeper. He rose immediately back to the 1st amateur league with the club .

After four years at VfR, Hrynda then moved to the then financially very powerful SV Neckargerach for the 1975/76 season . For the round 1981/82 he returned to VfR Heilbronn and ended his playing career at the end of 1982 due to a serious injury.

After his active time, Hrynda was a goalkeeping coach, youth coach and department head at VfR Heilbronn.
