Karl Josef Klauer
Karl Josef Klauer (born March 10, 1929 in Sargenroth ) is a primary and special school teacher and a psychologist. He has made a decisive contribution to the discussion regarding auxiliary and special schools and has significantly influenced the development of the discipline of educational psychology .
biography
Karl Josef Klauer was born in 1929. He studied psychology from 1954 to 1958 in Mainz and then also did his doctorate there. From 1963 to 1968 he held a professorship for pedagogy for the learning disabled in Cologne and completed his habilitation in 1967 at the University of Düsseldorf in the subject of educational psychology. From 1968 to 1976 he was Professor of Education at the TU Braunschweig . As the first holder of the chair for the history of empirical pedagogy, he established the basic pedagogical-psychological orientation of the seminar. From 1976 to 1994 he was professor for educational science at RWTH Aachen . He has been retired since 1994.
