societies

Kubik came as a midfielder for DFC Prague in 1903 in the final of the German championship .

After the staging of a German football championship was announced for the first time by the game committee of the German Football Association for the 1902/03 season, it took place from May 3 to May 31, 1903. One representative from each of the existing local and regional associations was eligible to participate; usually the master. Until 1904, German associations based abroad were also permitted, of which the " Association of Prague German Football Associations " - from 1900 to 1904 also a member of the Austrian Football Union - made use of the DFC Prague.

The meeting with the Karlsruher FV planned for May 10, 1903 in Munich did not take place due to the objection of the Prague to let the game be played in Prague because of the higher expected income and the objection of the Karlsruher against this setting. As a result, and for reasons of time, both clubs were approved by the DFB for the semi-finals. But a forged telegram with the content of a renewed postponement of the match date prevented the Karlsruhe FV from making the trip to Leipzig, which resulted in a disqualification on the part of the DFB.

The DFC Prague team, which advanced to the final without a fight, according to research by the IFFHS with seven Austrian players who were not part of the team, lost 7-2 to the Central German champions VfB Leipzig on Sunday, May 31 in Altona .

From 1907 to 1909 he was a member of the Vienna Cricket and Football Club .

National team

In 1908 he played two international matches for the Austrian national team . His debut on May 3rd in Vienna in a 4-0 victory over the Hungarian national team was crowned immediately with his first goal, the 2-0 goal in the 22nd minute. His last appearance as a national player was on June 7th in Vienna in a 3-2 victory over the national team of Germany .
