Karl Luckscheiter

Karl Luckscheiter (* 1857 in Sulzbach; † 1919 ) was a German architect .

Live and act

Luckscheiter worked in his architecture office in the Untere Neckarstrasse in Heilbronn since 1872 , which he moved to Friedenstrasse in 1889 and Moltkestrasse in 1899. Together with his partner, Ernst Walter , he created several villas in Heilbronn, including the Münzing villa at Bahnhofstrasse 8 and the Knorr and Teuffel villas . Also the Barbarino corner building , the Villa Rümelin (Wilhelmstraße) and the garden veranda of the house Wilhelmstraße 11 .

Rich window reveals, strikingly decorated balconies, profiled cornices based on Italian Renaissance models (Villa Nestle, Bahnhofstrasse) and steep mansard hipped roofs based on the French model (Villa Knorr, Bismarckstrasse) were hallmarks of his buildings.
