Karl Maßmann

Karl Maßmann (born June 9, 1889 - † February 3, 1956 ) was a German bank director.

Life

During his studies, Maßmann became a member of the Association of German Students in Berlin and of the Association of German Students in Prague . During the Weimar Republic he was a close advisor to Imperial Chancellor Heinrich Brüning . Until 1934 he headed the Deutsche Siedlungsbank . In 1933 he took over the organization and finance department of the VDA . In 1938 he became director of the Landesbank in the province of Schleswig-Holstein . After the Second World War , Maßmann became director of the Landesbank-Girozentrale Schleswig-Holstein in 1948 .
