Karl "Charly" Pregl (born May 7, 1944 in Klagenfurt am Wörthersee ) is a former Austrian ice hockey goalkeeper . In 1969/70 he helped the EC KAC as a goalkeeper for the 13th time in the club's history and for the seventh time in a row to the championship title of the Austrian ice hockey league . In 1969, the then known as EC Klagenfurt AC and the ZSKA Moscow faced each other in the final of the European Ice Hockey Cup 1968/69 . Despite outstanding performance as a goalkeeper, this game was ultimately lost.
