Karl Rousselet

Karl Rousselet (born June 13, 1807 in Friedrichsdorf ; † December 18, 1869 there ) was a German manufacturer and member of parliament.

Rousselet was the son of the factory owner and Friedrichsdorf mayor Abraham Rousselet (* July 27, 1765 in Friedrichsdorf; † August 8, 1846 ibid) and his wife Philippine, born Hessemer (* December 16, 1768 in Friedrichsdorf; † April 26, 1847 ibid). Rousselet, who was a Protestant denomination, married Anna Maria, born Velte on August 29, 1839 in Friedrichsdorf (born July 8, 1805 in Wehrheim ; † October 10, 1879 in Friedrichsdorf).

Rousselet lived as a manufacturer in Friedrichsdorf (hat factory Rousselet). In 1848 he was elected to the state parliament of Hessen-Homburg for the constituency of Friedrichsdorf, Gonzenheim, Dornholzhausen .
