Karl Schröder (local researcher)

Karl Schröder (born March 9, 1935 , † August 9, 2015 ) was a German homeland researcher and director of studies .

Career

In the 1980s Schröder became a member of the Heimatverein Eitorf , a municipality in the Rhein-Sieg district in North Rhine-Westphalia , and worked for ten years on the association's board. From 1999 to 2007 he was the archivist of the Ruppichteroth community and built up the community archive .

Since 1966 he has published books and articles in the homeland papers, in which he devoted himself to the history of his homeland.
