Karl Schrott (born January 9, 1953 in Zams , Tyrol ) is a former Austrian luge rider .
Schrott took part in the 1980 Olympic Winter Games in Lake Placid , together with Georg Fluckinger , after they had won second place in the World Cup in 1978 and 1979. Until then they were real amateurs. Her budget was only 700,000 schillings (around 100,000 DM)
