Karl Temple

Karl Tempel (born November 1, 1904 , † February 12, 1940 ) was a German lawyer, local politician and SS leader.

Life

From April 1933, Tempel was personnel officer for the city of Munich. From 1934 he was permanent representative of the first mayor , from 1935 first deputy mayor. After the " seizure of power ", Karl Tempel joined the NSDAP ( membership number 174.652) and the SS (SS number 259.371). In the latter, he was appointed SS-Standartenführer on January 7, 1935, and SS-Oberführer on November 9, 1936 . As such, he worked on the staff of the Reichsführer SS . He was a member of the Corps Bavaria Munich since 1924 . He was awarded the SS sword of honor .
