Karl Ulrich Wolf

Karl Ulrich Wolf (* 1921 in Weggis ; † June 12, 1957 ibid) was a Swiss composer and pianist .

Life

Karl Ulrich Wolf taught from 1948 to 1954 at the Lucerne Conservatory and at the State University of Music in Stuttgart . He then worked as a teacher at the Royal Music Academy in Stockholm . Most recently he was designated director of the facility. He appeared internationally as a chamber musician and accompanist, z. B. 1947 in the former Soviet occupation zone (SBZ). His compositions were broadcast on the radio. His nephew is the jazz pianist and composer John Wolf Brennan (* 1954).
