Karl Weinzierl
Karl Weinzierl (born April 16, 1902 in Munich ; † May 17, 1974 there ) was a German priest and canon lawyer .
Life
From 1921 to 1925 he studied law at the LMU Munich (1931 Dr. iur. Utr. ) And from 1925 to 1928 theology at the LMU Munich (1936 Dr. theol. Tübingen ). After the habilitation in the subject moral theology by the University of Tübingen in 1939 , the private lectureship at the LMU Munich was forbidden by the National Socialists . After his habilitation in 1947 for canon law by the theological faculty of the LMU Munich, he became a private lecturer in canon law at the LMU Munich in 1948. In 1948 he became an associate professor for ecclesiastical legal history at the LMU Munich and in 1952 a full professor at the Canonical Institute for ecclesiastical legal history with a teaching assignment for state church law at the LMU Munich. In 1969 he retired .
