Heinrich Wilhelm Karl Freiherr von Müffling called white (born February 16, 1834 in Münster , † July 29, 1901 in Ringhofen ) was a German administrative officer and manor owner .

Karl von Müffling came from the aristocratic Müffling family . He was the older son of the Privy Councilor in Erfurt, Eduard von Müffling (1801–1887). His grandfather was the Prussian field marshal Karl von Müffling . His younger brother was the district administrator and police chief Wilhelm von Müffling .
Life
From Müffling studied at the University of Bonn law . In 1856 he became a member of the Corps Hansea Bonn . After graduating, he entered the Prussian civil service. In 1864 he became district administrator of the district of Erfurt . After 36 years, he left office in 1900. Since then he has concentrated only on the administration of his property. The following year he died on his Ringhofen manor .
