Charles of Portatius

Karl Heinrich Emil von Portatius (born January 28, 1834 in Königsberg in Prussia , † June 16, 1877 ibid) was a German administrative officer and parliamentarian.

Life

Portatius was district administrator in the Rosenberg district in West Prussia (1865–1868) and in the Neidenburg district of the province of Prussia (1868–1877). From 1870 to 1873 he was a member of the constituency of Königsberg 7 (Osterode, Neidenburg) in the Prussian House of Representatives . In the first two sessions of the 11th legislative period he belonged to the faction of the Conservative Party , in the third session of the new conservative faction.

family

Portatius married Marie Emilie Rosalie Schaeffer on November 1, 1865 in Königsberg in Prussia (* April 22, 1844, † January 13, 1913). The couple had several children:

  • Marie Edith (born September 8, 1866) ⚭ July 7, 1893 Viktor von Gostkowski († May 4, 1934), retired major from Württemberg. D.
  • Lisbeth Anna (born September 8, 1866), canon
  • Alberth Botha Konrad (born July 4, 1869) ⚭ 1921 Georg Kanther, regional court director
