Karlheinz Geppert

Karlheinz Geppert (born September 8, 1955 in Stuttgart ) is a German cultural scientist and has been head of the cultural office of the city of Rottenburg am Neckar since 2004 , in 2013/14 and since 2016 chairman of the Baden-Württemberg state committee for home care , an honorary position that he had already done in 2008/2009 and since 2001 chairman of the home care working group in the Tübingen administrative region .

life and career

Geppert studied empirical cultural studies and educational science at the University of Tübingen . In 1986 he graduated with a master's thesis on the history of the Rottenburg Hospital of the Holy Spirit.

Since 1984 city archivist in Rottenburg am Neckar, from 1985 to 1990 he was also the district archivist for the Tübingen district . In 1992 he became director of the Sumelocenna Museum . Geppert has been managing director of the Sülchgauer Altertumsverein and also director of the Sülchgau Museum Rottenburg am Neckar since 1986 .
