Karlsruhe change sheets

The Karlsruhe changing leaves were a graphic - Edition for collectors in poster format DIN A 1, referring to the tradition of flying leaves moved and revived them.

On one side of the sheet they showed an illustration of a graphic specially made for this series and on the other side a corresponding literary text. (Edition 7/86 was only printed on one side.) The Karlsruhe Wechselblätter were initiated and published by the painters Gerold Bursian and Siegfried Schenkel and the writer Ulrich Zimmermann . Like the Fliegende Blätter , they dealt with time-critical issues and current problems in an often satirical way. They appeared regularly from 1983 to 1986 and were sold in art and book stores. Contributors to the series, in addition to the editors, were the visual artists Reinhard Dassler , Michael Rickelt and Herbert Wetterauer as well as the writers Harald Hurst , Norbert Braun and Norbert Ney .
