Ulrich Zimmermann (writer)

Ulrich Zimmermann (born April 1, 1944 in Danzig ) is a German writer.

After graduating from Kepler-Gymnasium Freiburg , Zimmermann studied pedagogy and worked for a long time as a secondary school teacher . In addition to his literary work, he was the chairman of the Association of German Writers in Baden-Württemberg eV and the initiator of the Karlsruhe authors' group . In 1985 Zimmermann was one of the co-founders of the Wilhelmshöhe studio and artist community , from which the Wilhelmshöhe Ettlingen Art Association emerged and was co-editor of the Karlsruhe Wechselblätter .
