Norbert Ney

Norbert Ney (born June 30, 1951 in Eutin ) is a freelance German author , travel writer , journalist , photographer and literary translator .

He works for newspapers, radio, agencies and publishers. Innately poet and satirical Narrator ( short stories ), he published as a publisher and as a nonfiction author books on various topics, since the early 1990s with a focus on travel nonfiction.

He has been a member of the Association of German Writers (VS) since 1974 and of the Association of Translators and Journalists at Ver.di since 1978 . From 1975 to 1979 he was on the VS board of Baden-Württemberg , 1980 to 1986 on the VS board in Hamburg and from 1982 to 1986 on the board of the Hamburg Literature Center.

Norbert Ney lives and works in Hamburg .
