The Karmutzen Mountain is a 1,433 m high mountain in the Canadian province of British Columbia . It is located on the western shore of Nimpkish Lake , around 30 kilometers southeast of Port McNeill on Vancouver Island . The mountain is located in Nimpkish Lake Provincial Park and belongs to the Karmutzen Range of the Vancouver Island Ranges .
The name of the mountain means in Kwakwaka'wakw , the language of the local First Nation , waterfall .
