Karolin Kandler
Karolin Kandler (* 20th September 1985 in Lübz as Karolin Oltersdorf ) is a German journalist , news anchor and TV host . She initially moderated on Sky Sport News HD and since 2018 on tagesschau24 .
Private life
Kandler grew up in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania and graduated from high school in Lübz in 2005 . She has been married to Thomas Kandler since December 2015. They have a child together.
Professional career
After graduating from high school, she began a dual course of studies consisting of training as a bank clerk at Deutsche Bank in combination with the International Business Administration course at the HSBA Hamburg School of Business Administration . She completed her studies in 2008.
From 2009 to 2011 she volunteered at münchen.tv and took speaking training. Subsequently, from 2012 to 2013 she was a presenter, editor and reporter for the German investor television . From 2013 to March 2018 she was a presenter on the TV channel Sky Sport News HD . Kandler has been moderating the news on Tagesschau24 since April 5, 2018 . She spoke her first daily news on ARD on April 8, 2018.
