Karsten Fischer (born May 27, 1984 in Norden ) is a German soccer player and soccer coach .
Career
Fischer has played for VfL Wolfsburg since 2001 , and for the 2004/05 season he signed a professional contract with Wölfen . In the 2006/07 season he should be loaned to TuS Koblenz to collect match practice. However, Fischer did not sign the contract. Subsequently he played in the second team of VfL, where he was a regular player. On January 11, 2007, he followed the call of his ex-trainer Holger Fach and went on loan to SC Paderborn 07 until the end of the season . For the 2007/08 season he then moved there for free. On April 30, 2008, SC Paderborn announced that Fischer's contract had been extended for the 2008/09 season. After his retirement from SCP at the end of the 2009 season, he signed a contract with third division club Wuppertaler SV Borussia . On June 10, 2010 it was announced that Karsten Fischer had signed a contract with Holstein Kiel in the Regionalliga Nord. In July 2012 he moved from Kiel to league competitor Goslarer SC 08 . For the 2016/17 season he is moving to FC Eintracht Northeim as a player and assistant coach . One season later, Fischer Eintracht Northeim left to join MTV Gifhorn in the Lower Saxony Oberliga as a player- coach.
The midfielder was active for SpVg Aurich and SuS Berumerfehn before his time in Wolfsburg .
