Karsten Grabow

Karsten Grabow (* 1967 ) is a German political scientist .

Grabow studied political science and economics at the University of Rostock , the Humboldt University in Berlin and the Duke University in Durham, North Carolina / USA. In 1999 he was at the HU Berlin with the dissertation supervised by Gert-Joachim Glaeßner and Herbert Kitschelt Farewell to the mass party. The development of the organizational patterns of the SPD and CDU since the German unification to become Dr. phil. PhD. In 2005, he completed his habilitation in political science at the Free University of Berlin ( Western European social democracy in government. Social democratic employment policy in comparison ). He was a lecturer at several universities and research institutions in Germany and abroad and a professor in Trier and Jena.

He has been a member of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation (KAS) since 2006 . He was initially a consultant for international party and parliamentary cooperation in the EIZ main department. In 2011 he became the coordinator for policy analysis and party research in the Politics and Consulting Department in Berlin. He published several articles at the KAS.
