Karsten Mützelfeldt

Karsten Mützelfeldt (born April 24, 1958 in Bückeburg ) is a German journalist , music editor and radio presenter .

Mützelfeldt comes from a family of dentists in Bückeburg and grew up in the Weser-Leine-Bergland . After graduating from school, he studied musicology in Hamburg.

He works as a journalist for radio and music magazines. For many years he has moderated a. a. at Deutschlandradio and Westdeutscher Rundfunk , there next to z. B. Bernd Hoffmann and Götz Alsmann the show Jazz twenty 5 . In 2012 he and Nabil Atassi received the honorary award of the WDR Jazz Prize 2013 for outstanding radio contributions in the jazz field .
