Karusell was a Swedish pop and jazz record label that existed in the 1950s and 1960s.

The record label Karusell was founded in 1952 by the Swedish jazz bassist and band leader Simon Brehm with Carl-Gustaf Niren. It was primarily a pop music label ; Jazz recordings were also released there, including some productions that were made in collaboration with Norman Granz . Carousel published recordings a. a. by The Spotnicks , Lill-Babs , Anita Lindblom and Wencke Myhre , appeared on the label a. a. also jazz music by Oscar Peterson (on a 10-inch LP ), Jutta Hipp with Lars Gullin and Simon Brehm on a 7 "EP (1955), as well as by Stan Getz & His Swedish Jezzmen ( Stan in Town on a 7" EP) . Karusell released recordings by the Gil Evans Orchestra under license for the Scandinavian market (excerpts from his Out of the Cool as EP). After Simon Brehm died in 1967, Karusell was sold to Polydor , where it continued to exist as a sub-label.
