Kazakhstan Prawda ( Russian Казахстанская правда , German Kazakh truth ) is a government-run, Russian-language daily newspaper in Kazakhstan and an important source of official and business information in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
history
The newspaper Kazakhstan Pravda was founded in 1920, the pioneer being the Russian-language newspaper "Izvestija Kirgiskogo Kraja" ( Russian Известия Киргизского края , in German News of the Kyrgyz Region ) and which was published on January 1, 1920. This newspaper was published every Thursday, the half-yearly subscription was 50 rubles, with special editions costing 2 rubles. With the establishment of the Kazakh Socialist Soviet Republic , the newspaper "Izvestia Kirgiskogo Kraja" gained in importance, as it was incorporated into the Communist Party and was published six times a week from 1923 on. The name was changed in 1921 to “Stepnoje pravo” ( Russian Степная правда , in German truth of the steppe ) and from 1923 to 1932 the newspaper was called “Sojetskaja Step” ( Russian Советская степь , in German Soviet steppe ). The first publication under the name Kazakhstan Pravda took place on January 21, 1932.
Many famous Soviet journalists such as Olga Bergholz , Pavel Kusnetzov, Pavel Rogosinckij and Sergej Kruschinskij wrote for Kazakhstan Pravda and cooperated with Mikhail Soschtschenko , Kukryniksy , Konstantin Simonov and Konstantin Paustinovsky with the newspaper.

The Kazakhstanskaya Pravda is considered the mouthpiece of the government and a must for politically interested, because there the decrees of the President, the appointments and dismissals are published by government members and other leading government officials and legal texts. In addition to regional and national topics, international events can be found.
The Kazakhstan Pravda has a circulation of 113,850 copies and is partly identical to the Kazakh-language daily Egemen Qazaqstan (83,600 copies). Both newspapers and other television stations have been part of the national media holding company Arna-Media since July 2008.
