The barracks is a listed semi-detached house with the address Seeweihermauer 19 and 21 in the listed old town of Weißenburg in Bavaria in the central Franconian district of Weißenburg-Gunzenhausen . The building was attached to the city ​​wall , called the Seeweiher wall in this section . The barracks are registered under the monument number D-5-77-177-439 as an architectural monument in the Bavarian monument list.

The building is a three-part, two-storey saddle roof construction with half-timbering and partial plaster . It was built between 1704 and 1707 as a soldiers' quarters. In 1780 there was a long renovation phase.
