The Kastrup Boldklub is a football club in the district of Kastrup Copenhagen suburb municipality Tårnby .

history

The club was founded in 1933 and has had its current name since 1941. Between 1976 and 1987 the club was represented in the first division . The best result was a fourth place in the 1979 season. A year later they played in the 1980 Intertoto Cup . In the group stage with Bohemians ČKD Prague , Werder Bremen and Lillestrøm SK only 3rd place could be achieved.

In 1987 a crash followed with two descents in a row. In 2008 the club merged with Fremad Amager , Dragør BK and Kløvermarken FB to form FC Amager , which went bankrupt nine months later.

After the new start, Kastrup BK's team is now playing in fourth class, the Danmarksserien 1.
