Heiko Racky (born October 1, 1946 in Frankfurt / Main) is a former German soccer player .

Career

The striker Racky made the leap from the youth of Eintracht Frankfurt to the Bundesliga team . In his first two seasons he did not play a game. In his third at Eintracht, the 1967/68 season , he made his debut on the ninth game day, October 14, 1967, in the away game against Borussia Dortmund . Under coach Elek Schwartz , he formed the Eintracht attack on the left wing together with Jürgen Grabowski , Ernst Abbe and Jürgen Friedrich . He gave the assist in the 2-1 defeat. Later in the season he played ten more times. Racky scored a goal in the game against Karlsruher SC . Since other recognized offensive forces and talents competed with Racky for places in the Eintracht attack with Walter Bechtold , Bernd Hölzenbein , Oskar Lotz , Wolfgang Solz and Bernd Nickel , his employment opportunities were manageable. In the following season he came under the new coach Erich Ribbeck only five more missions.

For the 1969/70 season he moved to the regional league promoted in the south, to VfR Heilbronn , with whom he took 14th and 8th place in the final table in two years in the South Regional Football League . There he scored 13 goals in 67 games. In addition to the claim in the league, the DFB Cup game stood out on December 12, 1970 against the defending champion Kickers Offenbach . Teammates such as Klaus Schmidt , Hans Mayer , Martin Kübler , Rainer Lippert , Jürgen Glinka , Harry Griesbeck and Erwin Hohenwarter achieved a 2-0 home win against the team from Bieberer Berg. In the 1971/72 round, Racky wore the Rot-Weiss Frankfurt jersey in the Hesse amateur league before moving to FSV Frankfurt for four years from 1972/73 .

With the team from the Bornheim district, he experienced in his first round with the blue-blacks the championship in the Hessen League and thus promotion to the then still second-rate Regional League South. In the last year of the regional Bundesliga support by the regional leagues, 1973/74 , he reached eleventh place with player- coach Horst Trimhold and other teammates such as Karl-Heinz Volz , Horst Wenzel and Klaus-Peter Stahl . Racky had scored four goals in 28 league games. With the FSV he was not qualified for the new 2nd Bundesliga for the 1974/75 season and so went the detour via winning the championship in the Hessenliga and thus promotion to the 2nd Bundesliga .

After the promotion to the 2nd division, Racky played another competitive game, in the 1: 7 home defeat on August 23, 1975 against VfB Stuttgart , when he came on for Alfred Metzler in the second half .
