Kastulus Bader

Kastulus Johann Bader (born June 26, 1940 ) is a German entrepreneur.

Career

After graduating as an engineer at a university of applied sciences, Bader joined his parents' company, the Leipfinger-Bader brickworks in Vatersdorf , at the age of 23 . In the following years he developed the company into one of the leading brick manufacturers in southern Germany. With the purchase of the brickworks in Puttenhausen in June 1983, production was expanded to two locations. In 2007 a production facility for backfilling Unipor bricks was built.

He holds a leading position in several professional associations: From 1976 onwards, he was chairman of the board of the nationwide Unipor brick group for 36 years . He was also President of the Bavarian Brick and Tile Industry Association and Vice President of the Federal Association of the German Brick and Tile Industry . Kastulus Bader resigned from these offices in 2012 at the age of 72.

Together with his wife Elfriede Bader-Nusser, he founded the Kastulus Bader Foundation in the spring of 2010 to promote nature conservation, youth and elderly care, art and culture, customs as well as science, research and education.
