The Kasumi Rock ( Japanese か す み 岩 Kasumi-iwa , Norwegian Disheia , both sides translated indistinct rock ) is a rock formation on the Crown Prince Olav coast in the East Antarctic Queen Maud Land . It rises up between the Torghattbreen and the Disbreen .
Participants in a Japanese Antarctic expedition that lasted from 1957 to 1962 mapped, photographed and named him. The US Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names translated the Japanese name into English in 1964.
